Complaints & Concerns
At GLP-1 Integration™, I want you to feel safe, respected and confident in the support you receive.
If something doesn’t feel right, you are unhappy with any part of your experience, or you think I could have done something differently, I want to hear from you.
Raising a concern or making a complaint will never affect the way you are treated or the support you receive.
Talk to me first
Where you feel comfortable, the simplest first step is often to raise your concern directly with me. Many issues can be understood and resolved quickly through an open conversation.
You can also make a formal complaint at any time.
Email: drliz@glp1integration.com
You do not need to write a formal letter or use the word “complaint”. Simply tell me what happened, what you are concerned about and, if you know, what you would like to happen next.
What happens next?
I will:
- acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days;
- listen to and review your concerns fairly and confidentially;
- contact you if I need any further information; and
- aim to provide a written response within 20 working days.
If more time is needed, I will explain why and let you know when you can expect a response.
Your privacy
Your complaint will be treated sensitively and confidentially.
Information will only be accessed or shared where necessary to understand and respond to your concerns, meet professional or legal responsibilities, or protect someone from serious harm.
If your concern is about medical care
GLP-1 Integration™ provides behavioural support alongside your medical care. I do not prescribe GLP-1 medication or make decisions about your medication, dosage or clinical treatment.
If your concern relates to medical treatment provided by a clinic, prescriber or another healthcare professional, I will help you identify the appropriate organisation to contact.
If you accessed GLP-1 Integration™ through a partner clinic, you may also be able to use that organisation’s complaints procedure.
If you are still unhappy
If you are dissatisfied with my response, please tell me why and I will review your concerns again.
Where an independent professional body, partner organisation, insurer or other complaints service has authority to consider your concern, I will also explain the appropriate next step and how to contact them.
Learning from your experience
Complaints and concerns are not simply problems to resolve. They are an important way for me to understand where the service could be better.
Where something needs to change, I will use what I learn to improve GLP-1 Integration™ for future clients.
